CENTER: Pretoria’s National Department of Health ESSENTIALS: a Financial Management NQF 8 qualification recognized by SAQA. at least eight years of expertise in finance at the senior management level. Experience should include audit, risk, and governance management, asset and liability management, and transactional and developmental finance. a solid history of overseeing important projects or programs. knowledge of government laws and policies pertinent to the position, such as the Public Finance Management Act 1 of 1999, the Division of Revenue Act 4 of 2020, the Public Audit Act 25 of 2004, the Public Service Act 103 of 1994 as modified, and associated regulations, among others.DUTIES: Strategically manage the department’s financial services, including supply chain, revenue, expenditure, assets, liability, and internal control. Oversee the creation of financial models that make it easier to choose the best funding sources and make efficient financial investments for the health sector. Maintain a performance budget monitoring system and oversee and coordinate the budget planning procedures.
