Pay: R468 459 annually CENTER: Pretoria, Head Office The prerequisites are a three-year National Diploma (NQF6) or an undergraduate bachelor’s degree (NQF7) in accounting, auditing, or financial management. Two (2) years of supervisory experience and two (2) years of functional experience with SOEs, financial management, accounting, and auditing comprise the four (4) years of experience. Knowledge: Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations and Guidelines, Organisational and governmental structures, Public Sector Risk Management Framework, Internal Audit Concepts, Frameworks, and Methodologies, King Report on Corporate Governance (II and III), General Recognised Accounting Practices (GRAP), and applicable legislative and regulatory frameworks (such as Labour). Skills include organizing and planning, writing and speaking, problem-solving, leadership, managing diversity and conflict, presenting, and creating analytical, financial, and performance reports. DUTIES: Advocate for and raise awareness of any issues pertaining to financial compliance within the Department. Keep an eye on and evaluate financial reporting, investigations, financial advising, and compliance. Oversee finances and manage, track, and counsel SOEs on corporate governance compliance. Analyze the financial reports of businesses that pay the Ministerial National Minimum Wages and offer suggestions regarding how affordable these apps should be.
