SALARY: R1,059,105 (all-inclusive) annually CENTER: Pretoria, Head Office REQUIREMENTS: Electrical engineering undergraduate bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) or three-year national diploma (NQF 6). a driver’s license in effect. Five (5) years of experience, including three (3) functional years in electrical services and two (2) years in middle management. Knowledge: Public Service Act and Regulations, OHS Act and Regulations, OHSAS, COIDA, UIA, UI Contribution Act, Employment Equity Act, Batho Pele Principles, Departmental Policies and Procedures, and ISO 14001 and 18001. Presenting and facilitating, organizing and planning, computer literacy, interpersonal interactions, problem solving, interviewing, listening and observing, being creative, analytical, conducting research, and project management are among the abilities. DUTIES: Contribute to the creation and execution of the Department of Employment and Labor’s electrical engineering strategy and policies in accordance with the OHS Act and Regulation. Regularly perform intricate inspections for Electrical Engineering in accordance with the OHS program. Perform technical study on the most recent developments in the electrical engineering sector’s occupational health and safety trends. Provide assistance with enforcement actions, including drafting court reports. Oversee the Sub-Directorate’s resources and employees’ performance.
