Pay: R269 499 annually CENTER: Pretoria’s Compensation Fund ESSENTIALS: three years of electrical engineering training (on NQF Level 6). One year of practical experience working in an electrical maintenance setting. Knowledge: Business plans and objectives for the Compensation Fund. Value Chain and Business Procedures for Compensation Funds. Policies, processes, and public service. Customer service (the principles of Batho Pele). technical expertise in engineering and construction. The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) and its pertinent regulations are a legislative requirement. Public Service Regulations (COIDA). The National Environmental Management Act, the Public Service Act, and the National Treasury Regulations. The Building Standards Act and the National Building Regulations. Competencies: Necessary technical competence. Making decisions. Conversation (both written and spoken). arranging and preparing. solving issues. Program or project management. DUTIES: To support the Fund’s goals, carry out scheduled electrical preventative tasks in accordance with the maintenance plan. Assess electrical components to address any unforeseen maintenance and repair requirements. Evaluate and keep an eye on contractors involved in electrical work.
