SALARY: R444 036 (Level 09) annually CENTER: Pietermaritzburg, head office ESSENTIALS: Requirements include a current driver’s license and a bachelor’s degree in financial management, supply chain management, public management, or public administration. At least three to five years of administrative experience in a shop, inventory, or asset management setting. Knowledge of the Republic of South Africa’s Constitution, the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Supply Chain Management Practices and Procedures, Employee Performance Management and Development System, and Stores and Assets Management Systems. Proficiency in both written and spoken communication, project management, computer literacy, interpersonal interactions, problem-solving, interviewing, analytical thinking, presenting, organizing, and driving are among the skills. Duties include: ensuring that departmental cellphones and other devices are managed; keeping an eye on the department’s inventory register; exercising control over stores and assets and confirming stock taking; ensuring that disposal is carried out efficiently; offering counsel, direction, and input to policies; and managing the Division’s resources.
