Level 13 salary (all-inclusive remunerative package): R1 216 824 annually CENTER: Polokwane ESSENTIALS: The South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) recognizes an undergraduate degree (NQF level 7) in public management, public administration, project management, community development, or development studies, or an equivalent degree. Five (05) years of middle/senior management experience. Certificate of SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) upon appointment. a current driver’s license, with the exception of those with disabilities. DUTIES: Create and evaluate provincial frameworks, policies, and initiatives for youth development. Sync up youth development plans with the growth and development plans of the province. Give departments strategic guidance on how to mainstream youth development programs. Oversee the creation and execution of integrated youth development initiatives in each of the 121 provinces. To prevent duplication and encourage synergies, assist in coordinating departmental and municipal youth development strategies. activities that improve the social cohesion, economic engagement, and skill development of young people. Create and oversee strategic alliances with academic institutions, the commercial sector, civil society, and the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA). To encourage inclusive youth development, collaborate with traditional leaders, community-based organizations, and formations. Create reports on youth development initiatives and how they support provincial development goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
