Grade 1 salary: R209 112 annually Grade 2: annually R248 613 Grade 3: yearly R290 805 CENTER: Hospital Tygerberg ESSENTIALS: Minimum level of education required: suitable credentials that permit staff nurse registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). Registration with a Professional Council: SANC Staff Nurse Registration. Grade 1: No experience. Grade 2: After registering as a Staff Nurse with the SANC, a minimum of ten years of suitable and identifiable nursing experience is required. Grade 3: After registering as a Staff Nurse with the 161 SANC, a minimum of 20 years of suitable and identifiable nursing experience is required. The willingness to work shifts, public holidays, after-hours, night duty, and weekend coverage are all essential components of the profession. The ability to work independently and under pressure is one of the competencies (knowledge/skills). DUTIES: Deliver high-quality basic nursing care in compliance with policies and procedures. Under the direct and indirect direction of the registered professional nurse, administer basic nursing care. Establish a therapeutic and secure atmosphere for both patients and the general public.
